The Swimming Pool

The Grand Hotel Angiolieri's swimming pool has been obtained from a cosy and intimate corner of our "Home". Sheltered from all that noisy and busy city life, this spot will guarantee you moments of complete relax. Most of the floors of the hotel, including the one at the pool, have been created using the tipical local stones, as the volcanic "Lava Stone" or the "Tufaceous Stone", a typical rocky conformation of the Sorrento Coast.

The sculpture of "Pulcinella", made by a famous Neapolitan craftsman, directly positionned at the back of the pool, pointing at the wonderful panoramic view, almost as if he said: "Take a look... how beautiful!"Try to imagine how moving it will be to swim in the pool's water facing directly the sea... Pecafulness, silence, the comfortable deckchairs and the breathtaking view, all experienced having a fruit shake, a long drink or one of the numerous special "salads" prepaired by our kitchen.

The Roman Arcade

The arcade is based on the original Roman Villa, on the same position where nowadays the Grand Hotel Angiolieri arises. Roman columns, benches and tables in typical, local hand painted maiolica and wooden bower. In addition to this masterpiece, the open space offers a splendid corner with cactus plants.

Events like business meetings, aperitifs, book introductions, literary meetings, wine tasting, cooking lessons and music concerts are only a few of a wide range, organized through the whole year. Our guests describe the Roman Arcade like an intimate place where one can deeply enjoy all the silence and peacefulness reigning in it.

Wellness for us means a collection of different activities which point all to the same purpose: to plunge into a universe of complete physical and mental relax! Choose between health fruit shake at the pool, fitness menu in our Restaurant l'Accanto created by our Executive Chef itself or a wide range of massages in our "Massage Room" prepaired by our professional masseur staff.
