Bezauberndes Hotel in hervorragender Lage. What a jewel! Found this on the internet only and read previous reviews. We could not have found better. Put aside the small amount of sunbeds, the size of the pool and the size of their rooms as we were fortunate to have booked a junior suite, which is the one featured in their brouchure. Sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the sunset whilst eating dinner or in just sitting in ones room looking over the Bay of Naples to see Mt Vesuvius is ashonishing beautiful. You could not ask for friendlier staff, from the reception to dining staff, nothing was too much trouble and they were very informative about places to visit or other places to eat. The chef definitely deserves his Michelin Star, as the dinner meals were some of the best we have ever had. I am disabled and found it difficult to climb the two flights of stairs from the garage when parking or collecting our hire car, so the staff would always fetch or park the car for us. Buy your train tickets at the hotel for the station 5-10 minutes down the road and do not forget to time punch your tickets in the machine as you step up onto the platform as it is unmanned. The trains are efficient but can be very crowded like the London Underground rush hours and when the schools finish. The hotel run a shuttle service down to the beach, local restaurants and the train station if you wish. Needed for the steep journey home! For a local restaurant down by the waters edge below the hotel which serves good food with decent portion sizes at very reasonable prices, try the very friendly family run - Mustafa's. They even do a perfect Pizza Naples style! as well as many other traditional dishes.

“Perfect luxury hotel. Friendly service. Free shuttels. Amazing pool”. This hotel was the height of the places we stayed in a 9-day trip through Italy. It is NOT in Sorrento. It is off the train stop for Seiano... one stop past Vico Equense, if you're taking the train from Naples. We were much happier to not be in Sorrento... it was less touristy, more relaxing and we went into Sorrento to shop and enjoy the sights, but then got back to our little haven of a luxury hotel and were thrilled to no longer be in crowds. If you take the train there when arriving (opposed to taxi), call in advance. The hotel will have a shuttle waiting at the train station to pick you up. If you don't, it's a short (but uphill) walk to the hotel. We made it fine, even with luggage. Breakfast is included. It's a very nice breakfast. View from the terrace and balcony is incredible. But best part of the hotel -- by far -- is the pool. We spent two lazy afternoons sitting by it and would go back to this hotel again, just to do the same thing. Oh -- do get the slight upgrade in room if you can. Your room is much more spacious if you are NOT in the romantic suites and instead in one with an ocean view.
