This Hotel really had it all! The location is incredible, overlooking the sea, the Gulf of Napoli, Vesuvio and Ischia. It's close to everything and at the same time it's tucked away from the traffic and noise, so you feel really peaceful there. The rooms are spotless and offer every comfort. Breakfast is to die for, with a very wide selection of home-made pies, and delicious pastries, breads, cheeses etc.served on the panoramic terrace . What makes this a really special place is that it offers the luxury of the best 4-5 star chains, but with the personalized care and service of a family owned pensione - the very best of southern Italian hospitality. A rare find, we will return!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our three children. I chose the hotel for its location (we wanted to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum and Capri) - stunning location and it was a breeze getting to and from sites via the train (the simplest, fastest way) BUT it is not in a bustling village/town, if that is what you are looking for its pool (mainly for the 4 year old who I feared might not really enjoy the sites - how wrong I was) - beautiful but unheated - our tough 4 year old was delighted with it; I shivered for quite a while after my dip and the [amazingly prompt] helpful hotel staff. Finding accommodation suitable for 2 adults and 3 young children (4, 9 and 10) isn't that easy and Angioglieri staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating, from responding to my first e-mail enquiry to sorting out our return to the airport via the Amalfi coast. The food was delicious, the wine advice superb, the room service fast and comprehensive, the views awesome, the service friendly, unfailingly helpful and effective and the feel of the hotel was just perfect. What more can I say .... (and after I'd booked a very discerning, well-travelled friend, whose family is from the area, recommended this hotel and now I know why). Un Viaggiatore di trip advisor
